Friday, March 23, 2012 - Disciple Now

Churchwide
Disciple NOW
March 23-25

Disciple Now is the biggest event of the year! For two days, middle and high school students will be adopted by a Hickory Grove family. They along with six to ten fellow students and a couple of adult leaders, will attend a conference at Hickory Grove North Campus throughout the weekend. The leaders will provide small group sessions in the host homes.

This event includes:
Speaker – Clayton King
Clayton King is no stranger to Hickory Grove. We’re excited to have this dynamic speaker back for DNOW. Clayton is founder and president of Crossroads Worldwide/Clayton King Ministries. He began preaching in prisons and churches at age 14, and has spoken to over 2 million people throughout the United States and 23 countries. Audiences respond to his honest and clear style of sharing the gospel, along with his down home personality and quick sense of humor. Above all, Clayton is called to preach the gospel and call people to salvation in Christ.

Worship – Aaron Keyes
Aaron joined us last year at Disciple Now and students loved him. He has served as the worship pastor for the past eight years at Grace Fellowship Church outside Atlanta. His heart is to restore the Word of God to the foundation of corporate worship, and to see a shift in the next generation of worship leaders to becoming more biblically empowered worship pastors.

Team WordPlay
This comedy/drama ministry team is based in Los Angeles. They provide skits, improvs, and sermons which captivate students while delivering solid biblically based content. Seeing this group bring characters to life is something students will not forget.

This year the event will take place on March 23-25, 2012. It begins at 5:30 PM at North Campus. The cost for each student is $50. Registration for students begins January 8. Registration for Leaders and Volunteers begins January 1.
