Welcome to Hickory Grove Baptist Church Day Care!

Hickory Grove Baptist Church is licensed by the state of North Carolina. We follow the same guidelines as the Double A license. This simply means more square footage per child, staff/child ratio is lower and there are five activity centers in the two, three and four year old rooms.
 
Our Purpose
 
God has given parents and teachers the awesome responsibility of providing loving care to the children He has blessed us with. The need is growing where children can be cared for in a good, clean and Christian environment while their parents are working.

Our primary goal at Hickory Grove Baptist Church is to provide a warm and secure atmosphere where each child has the opportunity to develop mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally and socially.
 
 
Hours of Operation
Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00a.m. to 6:00p.m.
 
Registration Fee, Annual Fee and Tuition
At the time of enrollment, a registration fee of $100.00 is due for each child. Registration fee is non-refundable.
 
A $100.00 Annual Fee is due in January of each year.
 
Tuition per month, is as follows:

                $647.00                 Toddlers
                $625.00                 2, 3 & 4 Year Olds

Lunch and Snacks
A hot lunch is provided daily for the children. A snack will be provided each morning and each afternoon. We do not serve breakfast or supper.
 
Clothing
 
Children are to be dressed in washable clothing. Due to possible injury to your child’s feet from the bark on our playgrounds, we do not recommend flip flops to be worn.

Medical Report and Immunizations
We require a medical report filled out for each child and also any updates on immunizations in writing.
 
 
Disease
This center follows the universal precautions for Communicable Disease such as hepatitis or Aids.
 
Class Participation
The center admits all children regardless of race, color, nationality, or religious background.
 
Discipline
 
A Child will be removed from the group for a period of “time out” within the room, this discipline is used for a child who continually demonstrates unacceptable behavior.

Corporal punishment is not an accepted method of dealing with your children’s behavior. Children will not be hit, slapped or spanked in any manner while attending this program.

When a child continually exhibits unacceptable behavior, such as excessive biting and hitting, which may be harmful to another child or to the teacher, additional recourse to “time out” may need to be taken. If after three incidents of harmful behavior and after consulting with the parents and a satisfactory solution to the problem cannot be resolved, we reserve the right to request the child’s removal from the program.
 
 
Daily Activity
Our activities are chosen to improve the various skills of our children. Included from time to time will be religious activities such as prayers, Bible stories, etc.
